Booking Deposits

 

  • All booking deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to attend your appointment, or you cancel a service (makeup and / or hair styling) for a group / bridal booking, your deposit will be forfeited.

  • A deposit is required to secure all salon, wedding, or group bookings. Dates cannot be held without a deposit. All bookings must be made via our website. Deposits paid via direct deposit are not valid, as we do not have a booking lodged in the system. We are not responsible for missed bookings if deposits are sent through this way. 

 

Cancellations, Adjustments & Rescheduling

 

  • Salon Appointments: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the full service amount being charged. Any changes to bookings must be made via email to our team at hello@natalielucasmakeup.com. Where possible, we will do our best to accommodate your request. 

  • Wedding & Group Bookings:

    • Full payment is due 60 days prior to your event (see your invoice for the specific due date).

    • For cancellations made more than 60 days before the event, the deposit will be forfeited.

    • For cancellations made within 60 days of the event date, the full payment will be forfeited.

    • We know things change, so we are flexible with you. Please let us know if your ceremony time has changed, your location has moved or your party numbers need updating. Your numbers per service type can be increased up until the day of your wedding / booking, or decreased (up to 60 days prior to your booking date). We don't allow reductions in your booking within 60 days of your booked date, as a courtesy to your artist/s. 

     

Payments

 

  • Invoices will be issued by email within 7 days of booking. If you do not receive your invoice, please contact us at hello@natalielucasmakeup.com.

  • Final payments for weddings and group bookings are accepted by bank transfer or credit card (processing fee applies).

  • Salon appointment balances are payable immediately after the appointment by bank transfer, card, or cash (please note, no change is available).

  • A 10% surcharge applies to salon appointments on public holidays.

  • Unpaid invoices may be referred to debt collection. Clients are responsible for any additional costs incurred in recovering outstanding amounts.

Additional Charges

 

  • For hair services, additional charges of $30 may apply at the artist’s discretion if hair is extra long, thick, requires extension application, or has not been dried prior to the appointment.

  • Parking, tolls, and any entry/venue fees must be covered by the client.

  • If our team needs to start prior to 6am or after 6pm, we will include an after-hours fee to your invoice. This varies depending on the start time, but it begins at $60 + GST / artist and increases incrementally each additional hour.

 

Medical Conditions & Allergies

  • Clients must disclose any known allergies or medical conditions at the time of booking.

  • While we take all due care, we cannot accept responsibility for allergic reactions or medical issues that may occur from the use of our products or services.

  • Clients agree to indemnify us and our artists from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from the client’s failure to disclose medical conditions or allergies.

Client Responsibility

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring that all booking details, including the choice of artist, are correct prior to confirmation.

  • We cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions made by clients during the booking process.

  • Clients must arrive with clean, product-free skin and/or dry hair unless otherwise advised. Additional fees may apply if extra preparation is required.

  • If the client or bridal party are not ready at the agreed start time, services may be shortened without refund.

Late Arrivals

 

  • If you arrive late to your appointment, your service time may be reduced. The full service fee will still apply.

 

Artist Substitution

 

  • We reserve the right to substitute artists in the event of illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances. All substituted artists are qualified professionals within our team.

 

Health, Safety & Travel Conditions

 

  • The safety of our team is our highest priority. Our artists reserve the right to decline or withdraw from any booking if their health or safety may be at risk.

  • This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Severe weather events (e.g., flooding, cyclones, bushfires, thunderstorms)

    • Unsafe travel conditions

    • Public health concerns (e.g., contagious illness outbreaks, including COVID-19)

  • If we are unable to attend due to such circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to provide alternative arrangements. However, we cannot be held liable for any delays, changes, or cancellations resulting from events beyond our control.

Photography & Marketing

 

  • By booking with us, you consent to the use of photos or videos taken during your appointment for marketing purposes (social media, website, promotional material), unless you notify us in writing prior to your appointment.

Service Outcome Disclaimer

 

  • While every effort is made to achieve your desired outcome, results will vary depending on individual skin, hair type, and conditions. We cannot guarantee identical results to reference images.

 

Force Majeure

 

  • We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, accidents, government restrictions, pandemics, or sudden illness.

Liability Disclaimer

 

  • While every care is taken, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (e.g., emotional distress, missed events, or associated costs) arising from service delays, cancellations, or dissatisfaction with styling outcomes.

 

Children & Guests

 

  • Due to space, safety, and hygiene, children or additional guests are not permitted in the salon unless they are receiving a service.

 

Privacy

  • All client information is kept strictly confidential. We respect your privacy and will not share your details with any third party.

 

Group & Mobile Wedding Bookings

  • Please obtain a formal quote before securing your date online.

  • If your getting-ready location or group numbers change, please notify us at hello@natalielucasmakeup.com so that we can provide an updated quote.

  • Minimum booking charges apply for on-location services. Minimum requirements vary by location and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Bridal Trials

  • Trial appointments are subject to artist availability. To avoid disappointment, we recommend securing your trial date promptly after booking your wedding.

  • While we will do our best to schedule hair and makeup trials on the same day, this cannot be guaranteed.

 

Company Rights

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings at our discretion. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

  • Policies are subject to change without notice. Please check our Terms & Conditions regularly for updates.

 

Entire Agreement

  • These Terms & Conditions, together with your invoice, constitute the entire agreement between the parties. No verbal agreements or representations are binding unless confirmed in writing by us.
